Arbor Day Celebration

Diana Grundeen with have a session on selecting and planting trees suited for a resilient northern ecosystem. Charley Wagner will talk about chainsaw safety, maintenance, and proper handling. Megan O’Neil will discuss emerging threats to forests like invasive insects and diseases.

Following the presentations, there will be live music by Charley Wagner. His soulful songs, played with guitar, harmonica, and foot percussion, will provide the perfect end to and educational and enjoyable day.

It’s a fantastic way to learn more about environmental sustainability, contribute to local tree planting efforts, and enjoy some great music and beer. Hatch Burrito will be on hand to provide tasty burritos and bowls!
